Plastic waste does not belong to waste sites...

Economical dealing with wastes is a very frequent theme nowadays. Plastics, due to their specific features like mechanical strength, life, insulation characteristics or corrosion resistance, are used more and more frequently to replace classic materials, e.g. glass, wood, metal or paper.
After their life time, however, they become a problematic waste, the degradation of which cannot be left to the nature. Our priority is not only to reduce the quantity of arising wastes, but also to use them as an important secondary raw material source. The plastic wastes represent a significant part of municipal wastes - in volume up to 25 %. The Company Transform Stod buys the plastic wastes especially from the companies collecting the separated wastes in communities and towns. The quality and quantity of the wastes is depending first of all on the motivation of the people to separate the wastes, as well as on the possibilities of the respective communities - the number of waste bins, their placing and the frequency of their collecting.

Conditions for collecting of plastic wastes:

• The company Transform Stod a.s. is dealing with processing of plastic wastes, namely mixed communal plastic wastes 200139 or industrial plastic wastes 191204, 160119, 150102, 070213, 170203, 160207, 120105 (further only material).
• The processing company accepts material for processing on the basis of concluded contracts, up to its full manufacturing capacity.
• The suppliers can arrange the delivery time and quantity with the reception worker of the processing company per phone, fax or per e-mail.
• The supplier is obliged to have weighed every supply and to pass over the weight certificate with the respective supply to the processing company. If a delivery contains over 5% of unworkable material, the supplier will take his delivery back at his own costs.
• The processing company has the right to stop material receipt during the calendar year.

These plastic wastes can include:

• drink bottles and canisters, PET bottles, plastic packings of food, cosmetics, washing, cleaning and freshening agents
• plastic bags, packing foils, bags and similar materials
• plastic parts of household appliances, toys and other products of plastic
• parts and products of foam polystyrene
• tools and utensils, vessels, buckets, bottle crates and other things of plastic

Plastic wastes should not include:

• floor coverings, wallpapers of plastic, textiles
• materials like foam plastic and rubber
• electrical cables and plastic parts containing metal particles
• tetrapacks and non-plastic things
• PVC waste water piping and other products of PVC

Bottles and containers of food ought to be pre-washed, so as to prevent decay of the contents.
